For 2017 Ontario has experienced record breaking levels of water accumulation. News agencies and articles are expressing concern for the changing weather patterns. Some even reporting that “the extreme weather we’ve seen is the new normal. More is on its way.”1 The average accumulation for Toronto in May is 72 millimetres. For 2017 Toronto has accumulated 142.6 millimeters.
