I am not going to unpack them all today, but one we do not talk about enough is that Absolute Insurance does care about its community and does give back. I jotted down this line from a book I read this past year, “We can’t afford to make dollars that don’t make change.” The idea is that companies cannot exist for the sole purpose of just making money; they have to have a greater purpose. At Absolute we do what we can to help different organizations and charities along the way. Your insurance dollars are making a different. Here are a few things we have done recently;
– A recent donation to Easter Seals of Ontario. In the attached picture is Lyndon from Absolute participating in the local 10km run along with the event and fundraising coordinator Charlene Myke.
– We supported a local private Christian school with a donation for their fundraiser.
– Absolute recently made donations to an organization called Anchor House, Sick Kids Hospital, and the local fair committee on behalf of our employees.
– Absolute will be participating in the upcoming golf tournament for the local chapter of Youth Unlimited.
– We also have an appointment booked to meet a fundraising group for the local hospital.
Absolute Insurance’s attitude towards giving is not one to say hey, “look at us”, but from time to time it is good to reflect and pass on to our clients that Absolute is just not about itself, it really is trying to make a difference and “make dollars that make change”.
