Are you Living the Good Life? Dairy Cows Are!!!

Posted on:

I am not sure why, but I was reflecting on the life of a dairy cow and realized that they really do live “the Good Life”! Now, the term “Living the Good Life” means different things to different people, but check out a dairy cows life.
Food: If you are a cow you get all your meals prepared for you. You don’t even have to do the grocery shopping. In most situations people bring you fresh food two to three times a day and you hardly have to move to get it as they often will put it right in front of you. A cows life is lazing around all day with people bring you food. Not a bad gig!!

Toilets: A cow does not even clean their own toilet! Unlike myself who periodically has to spend some time cleaning the toilets in the house, a cow does no such thing. Some would consider it living the good life when you have someone else cleaning your toilets. On top of not cleaning the toilets, cows also go to the bathroom wherever they feel like it. They never have to wait in line for a bathroom stall.

Bed: As a cow, someone consistently cleans and makes your bed! Even if you don’t go to the bathroom in your bed as a cow, someone still comes along regularly and fluffs your bed, like changing the sheets. This is typically done two to three times a week. I know my bed is not “turned down” a few a times a week.

So you see, being a dairy cow is not such a bad life. Having someone cook and bring you all your meals; having someone clean your toilets several times a day; and having someone changing your bedding a few times a week is not a bad like. Perhaps being a cow is “Living the Good Life”.
